I Am the Woman with the Issue of Blood

John 5:5-6 AMPC   5  There was a certain man there who had suffered with a deep-seated   and   lingering disorder for thirty-eight years. 6  When Jesus noticed him lying there [helpless], knowing that he had already been a long time in that condition, He said to him,  Do you want to become well?  [Are you really in earnest about getting well?] For this blog post, I will pretty much be staying in  Matthew,  but I felt to start this article with the man waiting at the pool of Bethesda because of the tragedy of his life and his belief system that kept him bound. He was born  paralyzed  and laid there for 38 years trying to get himself to the water because it was believed that an angel (although no one ever sees this angel) troubles the waters and if you get to the middle of the  pool,  you will be healed. Read his story in John 5 because his paralyzed legs kept him from getting into the water. W e can  only  imagine those  with  a different illness entirely who had the ability to walk jus
