I Am the Woman with the Issue of Blood

John 5:5-6 AMPC 5 There was a certain man there who had suffered with a deep-seated and lingering disorder for thirty-eight years.

6 When Jesus noticed him lying there [helpless], knowing that he had already been a long time in that condition, He said to him, Do you want to become well? [Are you really in earnest about getting well?]

For this blog post, I will pretty much be staying in Matthew, but I felt to start this article with the man waiting at the pool of Bethesda because of the tragedy of his life and his belief system that kept him bound. He was born paralyzed and laid there for 38 years trying to get himself to the water because it was believed that an angel (although no one ever sees this angel) troubles the waters and if you get to the middle of the pool, you will be healed. Read his story in John 5 because his paralyzed legs kept him from getting into the water. We can only imagine those with a different illness entirely who had the ability to walk just running once they saw the troubling of the water and probably trampling over him to get to that water first, over and over and over for 38 long years. It's a heart-breaking story but there are several things to notice in this story.

• Jesus didn't heal them all. He specifically went to this man knowing how long he'd been waiting for his healing
• Jesus didn't just walk up and lay hands on him. He walked up and asked him 'Do you want to become well?'

Like this story, I have always loved the story in Matthew about the woman with the flow or issue of blood depending on what translation of the Bible you read. The story of this brave woman can be found in Mark and Luke as well but let's take a look at Matthew 9:20-22.

Matthew 9:20-22 AMPC 20 And behold, a woman who had suffered from a flow of blood for twelve years came up behind Him and touched the fringe of His garment; 21 For she kept saying to herself, If I only touch His garment, I shall be restored to health. 22 Jesus turned around and, seeing her, He said, Take courage, daughter! Your faith has made you well. And at once the woman was restored to health.

How many of us have been sick with something for literally years? How many have Diabetes, neuropathy, enlarged heart, some form of cancer, and even eyes dimming? In the last couple of years listening to the Lord through His prophets we now know why. This stuff didn't just happen to us. It was literally put on us and now we have been living for years with sickness or disease, but this wasn't God's plan for us. Just like the gift of salvation that Jesus paid for far too many don't realize that Jesus already paid that you would be well too.

Isaiah 53:5 NKJV But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.

Actually, here again, it depends on what version of the Bible you read but there are a few that say, 'we were healed' past tense, and not just 'are healed.' Jesus took those stripes for us, and we must understand that He has already done everything He needed to do to deal with our transgressions, our iniquities, and even the sickness or disease that would come upon us.

I have written several blogs on the importance of speaking to situations. How we create with our words and that where we are today is very much because of the things that we have been saying. I love the woman with the issue of blood because she had gone through 12 years with this issue that literally kept her in bondage to her home. Back in those days, she would have been considered unclean similarly to a leper. There were laws against touching such a person. She'd probably been to several physicians through those 12 years and had to pay them just as we do today. All the wasted money. More prescriptions that don't really work but actually give you other issues and seem to make you sicker.

This woman however heard of Jesus. This man that was walking around and healing multitudes of people. Surely word traveled as He did these miracles and of course, we know that far more than just the 12 Apostles followed Him so even though imprisoned in her own home she knew she was going to have to somehow get to this man she'd heard the rumors about. She reasoned that she didn't have to necessarily talk to him or even get His attention. She simply planned to sneak in, and she KEPT SAYING to herself. If only I could touch the hem of His garment I will be healed. Jesus literally felt power leave his body when she pushed through the multitude of people following Him as he was on his way to heal a little girl whose father came to him saying his daughter was on death's door and they needed Him immediately. How do we know he felt it? Because in Luke's account of the story Jesus asked, who just touched Me and actually says He felt healing power leave Him, yet He was in the midst of multitudes of people. You can find this in Luke Chapter 8. Another thing that Luke's account tells us is that she'd spent all of her money on Physicians trying to be healed. She was broke and sick and this was her only chance. There were countless people around Him pressing through to get to this man's home to help his daughter and she came in behind Him to try to touch Him. Once she did, He immediately stopped and turned to her, and I envision her pushing through the crowd and touching the tassels of the tallit (Prayer Shawl) that He would have been wearing.

You and I are the woman with the issue of blood today. Just like in her day, we must realize that Jesus although on earth for 33 and a half years only 3 of those years did, He walk in His ministry. She had a window of time to get that close to Jesus and I believe that God is wanting us to comprehend that we are in this same situation today. The prophecies have been promising us not only deliverance from the evil ones, the deep state, and this fraudulent government but also health and wealth are coming to us from the Lord. God wants us healed and made whole. 

What have I heard through the Prophets? 

Some of which I have already shared through Prophetic Monday or Prophetic Tuesday mailings.

• Dr. Manuel Johnson says - We will just wake up one day and find that we are healed. If we can believe for it many of us will feel 30 years younger.
• Hank Kunneman says - Tell God what you want. In Matthew 20: 32 Jesus asks the man, 'What do you want Me to do for you?' You have to ask because unbelief kills faith.

Matthew 20:32 So Jesus stood still and called them, and said, “What do you want Me to do for you?”

• Donna Rigney says  - Millions will be healed overnight. So much oppression will be taken off of us and no longer having sickness and disease in us our entire countenance will change. Even our appearance will change because of the smiles, joy, happiness, and rejoicing which will transform how we look and appear to those around us. Those who can believe for it will see and perform miracles even greater than Jesus did.

John 14:12 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.

• Julie Green says - Total healing even from the vaccines. Not even needing as much sleep as we do now because we will have such youthfulness and strength restored in our bodies that we will be busy doing our Father's business.
• Mike Thompson says - God is going to restore our youthful vigor.
• CK Thomspon says - God says Healing is going viral. No longer will we be plagued by sickness or viruses because it will be healing that goes viral.
• Linsday Roberts says - The Lord keeps giving her dreams where she sees things written on Billboards as she drives by and they speak to her about what to do, what to pray, give her encouraging words or scriptures, etc... This has been going on now for over a year. In her last dream, nothing lit up on the Billboards as she drove by, so she asked the Lord what was going on and He said, 'What do you want?' Until she spoke the Billboards were blank. He told her that we were under an open Heaven and that He needed her to speak anything that she wanted (aligning of course with His word. You can't ask for another man's wife or another person's car etc...) Use the Bible and God's promises to speak what you want. Healing, wealth, houses, lands, etc... As she started speaking it in the dream the Billboards immediately lit up with everything that she said. She kept driving and speaking things she wanted for herself, her ministry, her kids, etc... Every single Billboard lit up with what her desires were.

How Do We Get To Our Healing?

First, we must understand that it is NOT God that puts sickness and disease on us. Satan is the one who comes to kill, steal and destroy. Jesus went around healing ALL... 

Matthew 4:23-24 23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people. 24 Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them.

Ask yourself this question since we literally live in a world where people believe God puts sickness and disease on them to teach them some kind of lesson. Why would Jesus go around healing ALL kinds of sickness and disease if His Father was the one putting it on the people? 

Faith is the only way you will be healed...

In Matthew 8:5-13 the story of the Centurion whose servant was ill. Jesus says He will go with him to his house to heal him and the Centurion says, no need. I understand authority just SPEAK the word only and my servant will be healed. Jesus marveled at this.

In Matthew 8:10 we find - When Jesus heard it, He marveled, and said to those who followed, “Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel!

In Matthew 9:27-30 Jesus heals two blind men but in verse 29 Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith let it be to you.

In Matthew 15:21-28 Jesus heals the Canaanite woman and in verse 28 Then Jesus answered and said to her, “O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that very hour.

So, what is it that hinders our healing...

Hebrews 11:6But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

God expects us to believe Him. We cannot please Him without faith. He says in Luke 18:8 Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”

In Matthew 17:14-20 A man brings his son to Jesus asking why His disciples could not heal him. Jesus heals the boy and then the disciples come to Him later asking why they couldn't heal the boy. In verse 20 Jesus gives us the answer, So, Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.

In Matthew 13:57-58 so Jesus is in His own hometown and because people know Him as Joseph and Mary's son, they decide he can't possibly be the Christ, so He wasn't able to do many mighty works there but then we see in verse 58 Now He did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief.

My final scriptures are in Matthew 20:30-34 30 And behold, two blind men sitting by the road, when they heard that Jesus was passing by, cried out, saying, “Have mercy on us, O Lord, Son of David!” 31 Then the multitude warned them that they should be quiet; but they cried out all the more, saying, “Have mercy on us, O Lord, Son of David!” 32 So Jesus stood still and called them, and said, “What do you want Me to do for you?” 33 They said to Him, “Lord, that our eyes may be opened.” 34 So Jesus had compassion and touched their eyes. And immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed Him.

There is something I want you to see here in verse 31 that is a huge hindrance to healing or believing God for anything. Then the multitude warned them that they should be quiet. This is what the devil does. He mocks you. He uses others to try to make you feel like you should be quiet. He tries to make you believe like others. He wants you to feel others will call you out if you believe differently than they do. He tries to destroy your faith by getting you to sit back and be quiet. Don't make too much noise. Don't draw attention to yourself etc...  He doesn't want you healed so he uses people close to you to try to discourage you and keep you unhealthy and in bondage to the life he wants you to live knowing full well the life God has for you. If he can keep you from what God wants he's already won. 

STOP sitting back in silence. Do what the woman with the issue of blood did. Keep saying it over and over and over again until not only you believe you are healed but the devil knows you are healed, and he can't control you anymore.

Keep saying it, I am healed in Jesus' name. I am made whole in Jesus' name. Day and night. Train yourself to wake up saying it and going to bed saying it. I don't care if you live with a spouse. Get your spouse to start as well. 

You and I are the woman with the issue of blood that needs to press in and touch the hem of His garment.

You and I are the Leper put out of the camp because people believe we will infect them if they are near you.

You and I are the Roman officer whose son needs healing or the blind men who want to see again.

You and I are the mute, the lame, the man at the pool of Bethesda, and even the Canaanite woman crying out for her daughter's healing.

But just like each and every one of them if we put our faith in Jesus, we will be healed and made whole. 

Let's look at what Jesus said about these people. He said they had amazing faith, great faith, faith he'd never seen before. It's all about having faith that God is working. Having faith in the blood of Jesus and putting our trust in the Holy Spirit that He is on earth always working on your behalf and that your part is to look up for your redemption draws nearer than it ever has before. You truly were born for such a time as this.

We are quite literally in one of the most pivotal times in history (other than Jesus' birth, death, and resurrection) where Heaven is coming down and touching earth. Where the glory (presence) of God is going to be not only seen but also felt by ALL of humanity. Where we will see with our own eyes the judgment and justice of God toward the wicked and God's manifested goodness, favor, and love will be poured out on us, His children. No matter what we are experiencing right now in the natural it is temporary and subject to change.

• Are you watching the prophecies being fulfilled knowing full well that we are hearing the real news before the news from God? 
• Can you believe God to take out the evil and to restore Trump to office even if there were no new elections? 
• Have you figured out yet that although Trump is a part of what God is doing to give His children back what the devil stole in our health and wealth, he could have never done what we are about to experience without God? Some of the reason I think some of this has taken the length of time that it has is because far too many were idolizing a man and not looking to God.  
• Are you able to fathom the fact that it is God and His mighty army (Angels and His intercessors) that are destroying the works of the enemy in the spiritual realm before we see it manifested in the natural realm? 
• And my final question is can you believe in His love for you so much that you know that you know that you know that He also in His goodness and love will heal you of anything and everything that the enemy has put upon you?

And I will close by saying believe God and have faith in Him and Him alone. Look where putting our trust in man has gotten us. Many of us did put our trust in Trump as we saw what was happening back in 2020. We knew he'd done executive orders and made preparations and so we assumed it would be over by November 4th, then January 20th, and then by June, and then surely before Biden was in for a year. Now we are over 3 years in this thing and although I know he is involved and working a plan he too took a step back rather than use those executive orders or plans that were in place all that time ago. Put your total faith and reliance on your Heavenly Father who truly loves you so much that He is moving Heaven and Earth right now to make sure that you, your kids, and your grandkids don't have to live in this mess anymore. Continue to pray for Trump and those with him but keep your focus on God and partner with Him to get this thing done.
