'Chosen by the King'

  My children, this is the calm before the storm. Yes, a storm is coming. Not just in the natural, but also in the spiritual realm. Just as Elisha prayed that I would open the eyes of his servant, so am I hearing the cries of My people to open the eyes of those they love who have been blinded by the spirit of religion and the culture of the day, and as I remove the scales from their eyes, they will have the ability to see the war that rages around you all in the spiritual realm. For My angels have been given charge, and yes, they are camped round about you, but they are in a very real war to protect My children and to fight for those who are called by My name.  La Brea says the Lord. Watch. For the tar pits are not what you've been told. Look for this to be exposed, for the truth will be told that it was all a cover-up to hide the bones of giants.   I will answer by fire, says the Lord. For My children, you are now living in the days of Elijah. For I have said that there is nothing new under the sun ( Ecclesiastes 1:9 ), and in this time you will see with your own eyes how your One True Living God answers by fire. In a time when My people were split into two factions ( 1 Kings 16:21 ), and evil was deep-rooted throughout the kingdoms because each followed his father's evil, and more and more wickedness came before Me, which was written in the book of the annals, until My displeasure came to such a boiling point that My set time to step in had finally arrived. You, My children, are experiencing the same in this time, and you will see Me again as the One True God who answers by fire, says the Lord.   I realize this word isn't for everyone, but to those it speaks to, I ask you to seek the Lord and repent, as the day of the Lord's vengeance draws closer. You've become like Korah, says the Lord. It doesn't get any better than Haman being forced to walk Mordecai through the streets, proclaiming,   ‘Thus shall it be done to the man whom the king delights to honor!’  Can you imagine the utter humiliation Haman walked in that day? That is our God. Pride goes before destruction, and He delights in lifting up His own children right in the face of evil. I have often wondered if the rise of Mordecai was really about Esther. If you asked me, I would have to say no. Mordecai is predestined and no less there for such a time as this than Esther was. With God's perfect timing, Mordecai, a man known but also hidden, I believe, as an intercessor, would rise in the most unusual way and in front of all the peoples. Those who loved the Jews and those who hated them watched as he cried out at the King's gate and all the way to his rise to second only to the King. Did Mordecai just happen to be there? No, again. Recently I woke up early in the morning hearing these words... Matthew 25:40 NLT ‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!’ I think most people read through chapter 25 of Matthew pretty quickly, and more often than not, they believe that this is speaking of what you do when you see a homeless person or whether you visit someone in prison. Jesus gave these as examples, but many take them literally. In fact, there are countless Ministries built around these scriptures, but for me this kind of turned into a conversation with the Lord because I knew right away that He wasn't telling me I wasn't doing enough.
