The Rise of Mordecai ~ blog

Image
It doesn't get any better than Haman being forced to walk Mordecai through the streets, proclaiming,   ‘Thus shall it be done to the man whom the king delights to honor!’  Can you imagine the utter humiliation Haman walked in that day? That is our God. Pride goes before destruction, and He delights in lifting up His own children right in the face of evil. I have often wondered if the rise of Mordecai was really about Esther. If you asked me, I would have to say no. Mordecai is predestined and no less there for such a time as this than Esther was. With God's perfect timing, Mordecai, a man known but also hidden, I believe, as an intercessor, would rise in the most unusual way and in front of all the peoples. Those who loved the Jews and those who hated them watched as he cried out at the King's gate and all the way to his rise to second only to the King. Did Mordecai just happen to be there? No, again. One of my favorite scriptures is found in the book of Acts. Acts 17:26 NK...

My Child, you are ETERNAL ~ Prophecy

Image
My children, I, your Father, remind you this day that you are so much more than you could possibly comprehend or understand. Wake up, oh Sleeper. For you are more than your flesh. You are an eternal being in My likeness and image; I fashioned you as I wanted you, with destiny and purpose. Did I not tell you that you are first spirit?  1 Thessalonians 5:23 NKJV 23 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify  you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Your surroundings and the enemy of your soul has made you forget who you really are. Stop. Stop now seeing yourself as simply a soulish being bound by flesh. For this is Satan's lie and the warfare that he uses against you, My children, but My Son has already taken every fault, failure, and sin upon Himself to save you from what I foretold long ago would work against you. Luke 22:3 NKJV 31 And the Lord said, “Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked fo...

OUT WITH THE OLD, AND IN WITH THE NEW ~ Prophecy

Image
You have heard it said, out with the old and in with the new, and so I speak to the enemies of old in this day who are trying to rise again in the land and declare that you will not rise, for you had your day and now it is My day, My Time, and My way. Yes, this is a new day for My children to stand up, stand strong, and boldly walk in the giftings and callings that I have given to them. I say, rise up with no fear and know that I am with you. Know that I have never left you nor forsaken you, and in the days ahead you will clearly see that I am leading you, guiding you, providing for and protecting you and all that I have blessed you with, says the Lord. Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert. For I have said that I am doing a new thing, and I shall. You will not only know it, but you will hear of My great and mighty works, and you will see it manifest before ...

A Conversation with the Lord...

Image
Recently I woke up early in the morning hearing these words... Matthew 25:40 NLT ‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!’ I think most people read through chapter 25 of Matthew pretty quickly, and more often than not, they believe that this is speaking of what you do when you see a homeless person or whether you visit someone in prison. Jesus gave these as examples, but many take them literally. In fact, there are countless Ministries built around these scriptures, but for me this kind of turned into a conversation with the Lord because I knew right away that He wasn't telling me I wasn't doing enough. He wasn't telling me I wasn't giving enough of my time, talent, or money. He was telling me something that surprised me, and so I felt to share it because it may surprise others as well. What is this truly about? To me, Jesus makes it clear that there are only two categories of people. There are...

Woe to those who turn people against Me and My plans / Blog Pt 2

Image
Part 2 In this blog, I sensed the Lord wanted me to share more of how the enemy gets you. How something as simple as bad counsel can lead people astray. He first brought this to my attention when I was reading 2 Samuel. It didn't even hit me when I read the story about David and Bathsheba, except that I did find myself angry and disappointed in him. Here was this man after God's own heart who had done so much and that we often teach and preach about, but to be honest, none of us would want his life. He was a mighty man of war, but the sin that he committed with Bathsheba and the murder of her husband Uriah was the beginning of the destruction of his family. We all know the stories. David is at the top of his game. He is finally King and has won war after war and taken down countless other kings to possess their lands, but all of a sudden he sends his army out without him, and being at home, he gets bored and is walking on the roof when he sees a beautiful woman bathing on a d...

Woe to those who turn people against Me and My plans / Blog Pt 1

Image
Part 1 I barely got out of bed to freshen up and spend time with the Lord when I sensed He wanted me to address a very serious subject in the body of Christ. Yes, I have addressed this before, but the reality is division continues to grow because God's people have idols in their lives and they simply do not realize it.   What then is an idol? In the Bible, an idol is anything that takes the place of God as the ultimate focus of worship, devotion, or trust, whether a physical object or a matter of the heart. This speaks clearly to us, and yet there are multitudes still being led astray by voices whose names I won't mention because I don't care to give the enemy an entrance through this blog. I believe that you know EXACTLY who I am sharing about. In all honesty, many years ago I liked many of these people as well, but the Lord taught me long ago to stay away from anyone who is not speaking for Him.  How did He teach me this? Proverbs 6:16-19 These six things the Lord ha...
