THE SIGNIFICANCE OF A NAME (9.7.25) This morning, I was finishing up my reading in Mark 15 about the burial of Jesus, and I noticed something I'd never seen before. Or at least hadn't taken the time to meditate on. The name Joseph comes up many times in our Bible. Most remember Joseph, the son of Jacob as the dreamer who lived a terribly difficult life, yet the Lord had plans for him all along and what his brothers meant for evil actually put Joseph exactly where God needed him to be to save His people knowing that there would be 7 years of plenty and 7 years of famine coming and that He had to raise up someone with wisdom to get them through that time.
