'Chosen by the King'

  Have you ever met someone who says things like 'God doesn't speak today or God stopped talking once  the Bible was written and now all we have is His Word? Many of you on my list about a year ago didn't believe Prophets still spoke today but have now changed your mind and can clearly see that there is absolutely no way the prophetic words that I have shared with you could have been given without the Lord speaking to His people because the very things that they share are coming to pass literally daily now. Of course, there was a point where we were hearing and hearing and hearing and felt we were seeing very little happening, but WOW! now the prophecies we've been hearing for years are coming to pass right before our eyes.   Prologue... I was in prayer by 5 am on Saturday and felt that I had to be quiet and silently listen. Prayer is not simply reading off a list of needs or wants expecting God to jump on your demands. Prayer is a conversation in a personal relationship with your Heavenly Father which means you must learn to sit in silence and listen to what He has to say. Listen to your heart. Listen to the words of God that have been put inside of you through reading and meditating on His word or through hearing preaching or prophecy. You can hear the voice of the Lord. It doesn't come from your mind; it comes from your spirit.  This morning, I wasn't waiting long at all when the Lord answered my recent prayers and cry for my children. In some ways, this is about Prodigals, but in others, I don't necessarily see my kids as such. They are truly terrific kids, but my heart is that they would know Jesus intimately and that this world and the culture they've grown up in will melt away with

A True Exodus... This morning I found myself in the book of Exodus and WOW! It is amazing if you read the first Exodus the similarities are literally like a blueprint that not only shows you what we are walking through but also how very close we are to DELIVERANCE. Woo hoo! What is the big difference? It's all much bigger, much grander, and not just one Country being affected, but our entire world is being delivered this time. If you are one that hasn't really been in the word a lot and you don't know the real story of the Exodus, I encourage you to get out your Bible, dust it off, and read this fabulous account of how after 430 years God delivered His people the Israelites from a tyrannical Pharaoh and one of the strongest countries in its day with a massive Army called Egypt.
