'Chosen by the King'

If that isn't the strangest title I've ever used, I hope it gets your attention. A few days ago, I couldn't sleep and was up and down all night. wondering why, praising, praying, etc. Then I finally fell asleep for a few minutes and woke up again to see a podcast on the La Brea Tar Pits was in my feed, and I had no idea how it got there, but it was interesting, so I watched the short podcast because something drew me to it. I don't live in California anymore, so what did this have to do with me? I then heard the name Ishbi-Benob. At first, I couldn't understand what God was saying, and then I remembered that the name Ishbi-Benob is found in 2 Samuel 21:16 and was the name of a Giant. In fact, I believe it was one of Goliath's brothers. So, what did this have to do with me? I believe God was trying to tell me something, so I continued to pray and meditated then it hit me.   Matthew 22 We, as believers, should understand by now that we are not just a Christian or a follower of Christ. We are also the Bride of Christ, which to most makes no sense. Many see things after the flesh (carnally) and cannot comprehend how you take both men and women and turn them into the Bride of Christ. I guess it would be similar to Nicodemus wondering what in the world Jesus meant when he said you had to be born again. He actually said, What do you mean?
