This blog will continue as I go through the Bible and see things that stick out to me. When the Lord prompts me to write about something that may not be a prophetic word or blog, I will add it here. The latest will be added to the top.
Since this is a continuous blog, I will probably start one for every month.
They Need a Body... (July 29, 2025)
By the time we get to Mark 5, we find an amazing story of a demon-possessed man who ran to Jesus and fell to his knees in front of him. Notice here that he didn't run from but ran to...
In an earlier message, I said, 'Don't ask demons questions.' So, why did Jesus ask this one his name? If we look at vs. 8, Jesus had already said to him, 'Come out of this man, you impure spirit!' But then Jesus realizes something significant that we might miss. He wasn't dealing with only one impure spirit. The demon speaks and says, 'My name is Legion, for we are many,' and then he asks that Jesus not send them out of the area. Isn't it interesting that he didn't ask not to be sent out of the man, but instead he asked not to be sent out of the area? They were okay with being cast out of a man, but didn't want to be removed from the place.
What does this mean, all tied together?
- Some are possessed by more than 1 impure spirit, and that must be addressed.
- Demons don't run from Jesus but to Him. I believe the demons knew that with Jesus around, they could not stay.
- Demons are territorial and should be addressed as such. Legion specifically asks not to be sent out of the area. Legion then asks to be sent into the pigs, which means animals can have demons, which I doubt most of us ever thought of.
I believe this story proves that they need a body. So, in one blog, I said don't talk to demons or engage in a conversation with one, which seems as if I am contradicting myself, but then in this story Jesus realizes that He isn't dealing with only one so He does ask for a name. However, Jesus never moved from casting them out. Never once did He waver on what needed to be done to help this man. It also proves that if you attempt to cast out a demon and it doesn't go, it may be because you are dealing with more than one. It doesn't mean you didn't do or say the right thing. It simply means that you had to know one more thing, in this case, which was that this man was being tormented by many demons, so in this circumstance, many demons needed to be cast out in order to deliver him fully.
Mark 5:9-10 NKJV
9 Then He asked him, “What is your name?” And he answered, saying, “My name is Legion; for we are many.” 10 Also he begged Him earnestly that He would not send them out of the country.

Immediately... (July 31, 2025)
I had a dream similar to what the woman with the issue of blood experienced. What do I mean by that? I mean, in my dream I was simply walking through my house and all of a sudden I felt something in me had changed. I knew immediately what had happened. I was healed of many things, and I could feel it happen just like this woman had.
Mark 5:29 NKJV
29 Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction.
This is what many of us are believing for even now. Just like the woman with the issue of blood, many of us have suffered for years now, even under a doctor's care, but God is the Great Physician. He wants His children healed. Jesus came to give you life and that more abundantly. In this story, this woman expected the super moving through Jesus' ministry to remove the sickness and suffering she had experienced in the natural for so long.
Beloved, don't go another day without focusing on Jesus and walking in that childlike faith and expectation again.

Your Faith Has Healed You... (July 31, 2025)
Isn't it interesting that, unlike many others, Jesus healed the woman with the issue of blood simply by putting out her faith. She didn't call Him to her house. She didn't even believe He had to lay hands on her. She simply knew if she could be close enough to touch the hem of His garment, she'd be healed.
Beloved, the veil was torn from top to bottom. You have access to Jesus at any time. You can be as close to Him as you want to be. In fact, Ephesians 2:6 tells us we are seated in heavenly places with Him.
To those running from meeting to meeting and seeking out Evangelists to heal them, I say, read Mark 5:34 over and over until it sinks in that your faith can free you from all the suffering, whether it's ailments, family issues, or even financial trouble. Jesus said...
Mark 5:34
“Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.”

Do Not Become an Unbelieving Believer... (July 20, 2025)
Isn't it interesting that Jesus told the disciples at least three different times that He was going to be put to death but would resurrect again and yet after witnessing and experiencing all that Jesus did, including raising people from the dead, they weren't hanging on His words. They weren't waiting in faith by the Tomb for His return knowing that He would rise again.
However, the Cheif Preists and Pharisee's remembered something they'd heard Jesus say one time, which was, 'after 3 days I will rise.' and they actually believed Him. How do we know this? Because once Jesus died on that Cross they went to Pilate immediately so concerned not only that He could but that He would rise again and they asked for the tomb to be made secure until the 3rd day by setting up guards to watch over it.
Amazingly they took what Jesus said only once and believed it. The disciples however never watched the tomb and went on with their lives. Isn't it interesting that the chosen ones on that day became unbelieving believers even after following Him for 3 1/2 years and all they'd seen. Do you know any unbelieving Believers?
Matthew 27:62-65
62 On the next day, which followed the Day of Preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees gathered together to Pilate, 63 saying, “Sir, we remember, while He was still alive, how that deceiver said, ‘After three days I will rise.’ 64 Therefore command that the tomb be made secure until the third day, lest His disciples come by night and steal Him away, and say to the people, ‘He has risen from the dead.’ So the last deception will be worse than the first.”

Demons in Church... (July 21, 2025)
The book of Mark gives us a story about Jesus preaching in the synagogue, and they were amazed at His teaching because of the authority with which He taught them, while noticing that the teachers of the law didn't preach the same.
Then we read that in the synagogue is a man with an unclean spirit (demon possessed). He literally manifests in the synagogue. Jesus had to cast out a demon right there in the synagogue.
Isn't it interesting that all of this took place in what today would be considered a House of God or a church? We still have churches today that ignore relationship with Christ and walking in the authority given to us to not only do what He did, but even more. Beloved, there are people sitting right next to you in our churches who need deliverance.
Unless we recognize that people in our churches need deliverance through the blood and the power of Jesus, which won't happen through a man-made religion or a false doctrine, we will continue to see people in our churches struggle and not be set free. Jesus came to set the captives FREE (Luke 4:18). Isn't that what we should be doing as well?
Mark 1:23-26
23 Now there was a man in their synagogue with an unclean spirit. And he cried out, 24 saying, “Let us alone! What have we to do with You, Jesus of Nazareth? Did You come to destroy us? I know who You are—the Holy One of God!”
25 But Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be quiet, and come out of him!” 26 And when the unclean spirit had convulsed him and cried out with a loud voice, he came out of him.

More than 'be quiet' is too much... (July 21, 2025)
Isn't it interesting that today we have people in Deliverance Ministry who take the time to talk to demons or ask them questions like, 'What is your name, or where do you come from?'
Jesus did not do this. In fact, I don't believe He spoke to them much more than to say 'be quiet or get out.' They often recognized Him and even called His name.
Mark 1:34
Then He healed many who were sick with various diseases, and cast out many demons; and He did not allow the demons to speak, because they knew Him.
In verse 25, Jesus tells the demon to be quiet and then simply casts it out.
I find it interesting how sickness, disease, and demons are all issues Jesus could heal or cast out in His day, but numerous amounts of spiritual leaders today send you to counseling and hospitals.
One of the most important things to be aware of when getting involved in or going to a Deliverance Ministry (which is Biblical) is to be careful not to let the demons speak. You have authority. Use it!

Those Who Do the Will of My Father are My Family... (July 24, 2025)
I've always wondered about Mark 3:33 which says, 'who are my mother and my brothers?' To be honest I always thought it was a bit cold or rude... lol Why would Jesus say this about Mary?
I believe I found out why as just a bit earlier in the same chapter we find...
Mark 3:21
When his family heard about this, they went to take charge of him, for they said, “He is out of his mind.”
I find it interesting that right before this happened the Pharisees said Jesus was possessed by Beelzebub. Jesus always knew what his family was thinking of him and saying to others just like he always seemed to about the Pharisees. He knew what was in their hearts.
His own family was in unbelief at this time. They were literally planning to somehow take charge of him while announcing to others that he was out of his mind.
My point is the disciples truly had become his family as they were the ones truly following him.

Rather Than Bowing They Lied... (July 21, 2025)
Isn't it interesting how nothing changes through time?
Back in Jesus' day, after His resurrection, the Chief Priests and Pharisees were told what happened by the Soldiers who told them the truth. Jesus had resurrected from the dead, and rather than fall to their knees in repentance to God for what they had done to His Son, they continued in their evil plan and paid the soldiers to lie to the people so that no one would know. This is exactly what we are experiencing still today. Our government has plots, plans, and schemes not only against Donald Trump but also against God's people. Exposure after exposure has gone on now for over 5 years, but rather than fall to their knees realizing the God of Heaven and Earth loves them and wants them to repent, they continue to lie and try to deceive the people.
Precious child, you must walk closely with the Me in this time. Watch, pray, and discern. No longer allow them, the evil ones, to deceive you or attempt to pull you away from Me and the truth.
Matthew 28:12-13 NIV
12 When the chief priests had met with the elders and devised a plan, they gave the soldiers a large sum of money, 13 telling them, “You are to say, ‘His disciples came during the night and stole him away while we were asleep.’

They Both Received Their Inheritance... (July 20, 2025)
Isn't it interesting that the Prodigal son asks his father for his inheritance early, but the father didn't just give it to the one who asked? Verse 12 tells us that the father divided to THEM BOTH, not just to the one. Therefore, the father graciously and without playing favorites gave the inheritance to them both.
One threw it all away on prodigal living (to quote scripture), but the other son stayed and never left at all having his inheritance in hand.
One learned humility through the loss of it all and the things that he suffered, and the who never left and had it all along somehow learned offence and jealousy toward the one who gave it, and not humility at all.
Luke 15:12 NKJV
And the younger of them said to his father, ‘Father, give me the portion of goods that falls to me.’ So he divided to them his livelihood.

The Prodigal Brother... (July 20, 2025)
Isn't it interesting how much like the Prodigal brother many Believers are? With so much jealousy in their hearts when another brother or sister turns from their wicked ways and comes back to the Father in Heaven, in repentance, wanting to be in His arms again, you find that even those who prayed they would come back are now angry that the Prodigal is getting attention. Check your hearts, dear ones. Heaven rejoices when a sinner repents, and you must in this time have the heart of your Father.
Luke 15:7 NKJV
I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.
