Ask Sheryl ~ What do you mean we may still have hundreds of years?

In a recent blog called Walking Through the Book of Jonah, I wrote that what took place on May 17th in the rededication will continue to grow across the world, and we will be given hundreds of years so that our children and our children's children will walk in blessing. The words written in red were sent to me as a question about what I meant by saying that. I shared a letter in response and feel compelled to expound upon that now.

Will everyone believe what I am about to share? No, I doubt it. But I have found that we often filter prophecy and even teachings through our own negative experiences and sometimes even a lack of knowledge of the word of God, rather than because we actually believe it is what the Spirit of God is saying or what the Bible actually tells us.

What was I attempting to say? You might want to go back and read the blog first, but if not, I believe what the Lord is trying to wake people up to is that this is not the end. For so many years now, the body of Christ has been falsely taught that things are going to get so bad that the devil somehow wins, and that the teachings we have about a Rapture of the Church are for that time frame. The enemy will beat God (the Creator of Heaven & Earth). God will realize it's over, it's done, He can't win, He loses, and just hurriedly send Jesus back to snatch His children away.

Wait a minute. Did you really read that? Does that even sound remotely possible? God is Omniscient and Omnipresent. He knows the end from the beginning. The Devil knows neither and is not God's equal, beloved. He is a created being just like you or me. He was cast out of hell for trying to start a coup against God. Did that work? No, but far too many still accept everything that happens in the negative as if Satan is winning rather than understanding that although Jesus is clear that difficult things will come, He never, no, not even once, said the enemy would win, in fact He said...

Matthew 16:18 NKJV
I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.

Also, if we look at Matthew 24, which so many Believers use to say Jesus was telling us that, 'it's over, we're cooked, or it's impossible to come back from this.' They really focus on all the negatives. Wars, rumors of wars. Have we had this? Oh, yes. Famines, earthquakes? Yes again. What about hate and Lawlessness? For sure, beloved, we are living through and definitely seeing all of the things that Jesus spoke of, but some are missing the last thing that He made clear.

Matthew 24:14 NKJV
And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

Have you seen or heard that this gospel has been preached to all the world? No, you have not. In fact, quite the opposite. If anything, it has been kept from being preached around the world by tyrannical governments and leaders, and has never been preached all over the world. Therefore, what I believe the Lord wants us to realize is that this is not the end. His Spirit has yet to be poured out on all flesh, as Joel 2:28 told us. Our sons and our daughters have not yet prophesied, have they? No, instead an enumerable amount of them became prodigals and left their families.

Another thing that the church is missing is found in Luke the 17th Chapter. Jesus specifically told us what it would be like. He gives us two different accounts by saying, as in the days of Noah and as in the days of Lot. This is red letter, dear ones. This is Jesus Himself again speaking and sharing what it will be like.

Luke 17:28-30 NKJV
And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: 27 They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. 28 Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; 29 but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. 30 Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed.

So, what happens here is people read this, and what they see is the destruction rather than the salvation or saving of a people to preserve God's creation. Yes, death, doom, and destruction came in judgment, and I believe it will in the days ahead, but it was not for Noah or his family line, and it was not for Lot and his daughters. Actually, his wife and other children were also given the opportunity to flee before fire came raining down from Heaven to destroy Sodom & Gomorrah, but the Bible tells us that Lot went to his son's in law (married to other daughters) and they laughed at him. Then his wife had to be forced to leave, and even though she left, she disobeyed and looked back, which in turn made the warning the angels had given before they delivered them judge her, and she became a pillar of salt.

HOW MUCH MORE?

Why do people believe that just because all of this wickedness and evil is happening, that it must be THE END? I believe it is because they are reading words on a page and not connecting with the heart of Jesus. Jesus intended for you and me to be not only saved but also Holy Spirit-filled so that once He ascended, we would still have that close relationship with Him. His sheep should be able to hear His voice, so then why are so many being led astray right now? Sadly beloved, it is because they live under the letter of the law, which kills, and they forget that Jesus came to give them life and that more abundantly.

If the wicked and evil Nineveh was given another 150 years at their turning back to God, why would He limit our years? Not only are His own children crying out as the church grows larger than it ever has been before, but we also for the first time EVER have a President who has rededicated our Nation (stolen throughout history by the Elite/Globalists). God is no respecter of persons. So, if He relented and turned from judgment back in Jonah's day, He even more so wants that for us now.

The Lord is not looking for the escape clause that so many teaching false doctrine about a soon coming rapture are believing. Where is the abundant life in a rapture that comes because Satan somehow wins? I believe that if you would read the book of Daniel and even the book of Enoch, you would see that through all the doom and gloom, there was always light. That light is Jesus, and God always makes a way even when there is no way. Jesus is not coming down to pull you out. He's already done that by going to the Cross. When He did go to be seated at the right hand of the Father, He gave you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and that is what He expects you and me to do today.

In the Hebrew Bible, serpents and scorpions symbolize danger, deception, evil, and divine judgment.

Some may wonder, well, what about some prophetic voices who are prophesying that we only have 7 years? I am not speaking against any of the prophets. I am simply saying they are not giving dates of the end. They are not saying, then Jesus will return, or then the rapture of the church will take place. No, beloved, we hear the words given, and then we put our own thoughts to what God might be saying. We use our own imaginations and come up with negative endings instead of seeing wonderful new beginnings. I believe that man is misinterpreting what is being said, resharing and/or quoting, and then sowing more and more confusion into the body of Christ, which is sad because God Himself is NOT the author of confusion; therefore, it is man who is bringing the confusion.

And in closing, I will say that I don't believe the rapture is what we've been told AT ALL. I believe it is another false doctrine to deter us from believing God is good and to keep us from standing. Rather than occupying until He comes, we are telling people to get their rapture rugs out, and we are not standing at all but actually lying down.

Yes, we want our Bridegroom to come. Yes, running on streets of glory compared to what we're experiencing sounds great, but at what cost? You might be saved, but are your children or your children's children all saved? Is your mother or father, or are all of your siblings, saved? And what about your neighbors, whom you are supposed to love as you love yourself, and even your coworkers? It is only this writer's opinion, but I cannot understand the selfishness behind feeling that if I'm okay and I'm saved, all is well. Jesus asked us to go into all the world and make disciples of all nations. We each have a calling and need to get busy doing what He asked us to do. The Bible also says we will be known by our fruit, but is there fruit in escapism? I don't see it. Galatians tells us.

Galatians 5:22-23 NKJV
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

This, I believe, is why it is so important to be Spirit-led and not teaching-led or led by what man perceives to be truth and has taught. Doesn't the word of God say that even the elect could be deceived? I pray this gives you more insight into what I was saying in that last blog (linked above). For some it may rattle them but hopefully for some you can now find peace because I believe that part of my own calling is to wake people up to where the Lord is taking us (Back to Eden) as well as to help people see that they must read the word for themselves not relying on men or women to teach them because although they are held to more of an account the Bible clearly teaches that we will each stand before the judgment seat on our own.

Multitudes are already in the valley of decision. Don't fall for the lies anymore. It's long past time to stop being led astray by people who may have taken scripture and twisted it out of ignorance or even to benefit themselves somehow. One scripture that I will give an example of that I have seen over and over used against the Saints is in Hebrews.

Hebrews 10:25 NKJV

not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

Church upon church and Pastor upon Pastor will use this scripture to bring condemnation on you if you aren't attending church in a building, yet there is nothing here about a church, organization, house, denomination, congregation, or anything of the sort. Yes, we should get together with brothers and sisters. I am not telling you not to go to church. I am simply saying that man takes scripture and sometimes interprets it wrongly. Most times it is because that church needs a body in a seat or needs the tithe or offering. There are very few who will clearly say, " Have people over for dinner, invite your neighbors over, simply have a Bible study, or whatever. No, it is always used to put condemnation on those who won't go to their building, but Jesus told us 'there is no condemnation.' Didn't He? We must as a body grow not only in the word but in discernment because until God's divine turn around, as in the days of Noah, there is darkness ahead. I just happen to know that I know that I know, and wholeheartedly believe that what is coming is that the light will shine through the darkness.

Isaiah 60:2 NKJV

For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you.
